We’re Talking Politics, Presidential Election, Marijuana, NFL and NBA Sports News & Entertainment
During the show Jay experienced technical difficulties with his PC. I am a very proud owner of a Mac and I tried to persuade Jay to dump his windows based garbage and integrate is life with Apple products. My valiant effort fell on deaf ears and he’s fortunate to have ears because he owns a Samsung mobile phone. I love my Jay and I tremble at the thought of him using his phone. Podcasters lives matter and I hope one day Jay will see the light and become an obedient subject of the Apple. P.S. Apple and Google own my soul!!
On election night I felt the wickedness of the shadow of evil looming over me. The foulness of rebel voters casting their ballots for third parties not because they believed in the candidate but because they wanted to protest against a sham system of governing our nation without care or curiosity of who could possibly be the new leader of this nation in transition was apparent. Lets not forget the rebels who protested the election by not voting. The conscious neglect of logic to the detriment of succumbing to irrational emotions led the rebels to a dismal end. As reckless as they were with their votes and non votes the rebels found themselves in city streets protesting the outcome of an election they created.
The celebration of the end of liberalism is funny. Not funny is the sense of being hilarious, but funny in the sense of human selfishness to sacrifice the whole for ones self. The belief that I am deserving, but the other is not is a tragic entitlement harbored by many Americans who say they love this country but hate other Americans. The lust for ones self interest will have catastrophic ends. With Trump we will burn more coal, produce more domestic oil and decouple from trade agreements. The outcome? The oceans will continue to rise. Climate refugees will relocate to stable nations. The refugee crisis will destabilize those nations. As nation states fall terror groups will rise. As we walk a way from trade agreements China and Russia will fill the void and our global economic advantage will be lost. Unemployment will rise to historic levels because corporations will be forced to manufacture overseas to obtain competitive advantages due to financial barriers caused by the lack of trade agreements. National security will be at risk from internal and external factors. All of this will occur because our leadership would rather pacify its constituents then tell them the true. The United States of America is GREAT and no one stole your jobs. Government either lacked the vision or didn’t care how technology would displace millions of American works. The government we’re getting in 2017 will not tell you that you need to retool yourself with new skills, become an entrepreneur, rethink what work is, find a new industry to work in and start from the bottom. The Trump Administration and the Republican Congress will give you the pacification of short-term gains for long-term catastrophic loses.
Second Amendment advocates are celebrating Trump’s victory. Soon firearm owners will be able to use the Amazon Dash button to purchase ammo.
One compelling argument for Trump’s success is the allure to grab random P. Once upon a time a man or woman would have to go to a gentleman’s club in order to pay for the privilege to grab some P. With Trump in office we now have the right to grab P anywhere. We’ll be able to grab P on the subway, walking the streets, at work, on trains, during soccer practice, at funerals, in the gym, in our homes, in other peoples homes and in women’s rest rooms. The great P grab is on the way.
Another gift from Trump is the meaninglessness of words. During the campaign the President Elect used divisive language to rally hate against minorities and immigrants. Mr. Trump used language to belittle, diminish and ridicule women. Now the President Elect wants us to come together as one people as if he didn’t play a role in tearing us apart. The era of Trump is ushering out the end of political correctness “COURTESY, MUTUAL RESPECT & TOLERANCE” for hate rhetoric, misogynistic lingo “locker room talk” and good old fashion lying. Since words no longer mean anything it’s ok to use profane and obscene language. Hell use the N word, the C word, the B word and use them often. It’s ok they’re meaningless.
An 80 year old lie about the dangers of Marijuana is slowly unwinding and the truth about the natural plant’s medicinal properties are gaining popularity in the United States. Marijuana is now legal for recreational use in 5 states. I find it an epic failure to portray this product as a drug when alcohol is marketed as a beverage. Alcohol should be listed as a schedule 1 drug. Alcohol has killed hundreds of thousands of people. Alcohol has destroyed families and individual lives. The consumption of alcohol poisons the body and can lead to disease. Alcohol is sinister Marijuana is benign. If it was up to me I would band the consumption of alcohol in this country and legalize the use of Marijuana. People are reckless with the use of alcohol. Users of this drug can become violent. Intoxication can lead to fatalities, infidelity, unwanted pregnancies, shot gun marriages and birth defects. We need to be honest about drugs in this country. The abuse of prescription medication leads the addicted to harder street drugs but we don’t hold doctors and pharmaceutical companies liable for their negligence which has caused this problem. We don’t need to continue the failed war on drugs. The monetary resources that our country uses to fight cartels in foreign countries should be used to strengthen our border security, promote the awareness of the perils of drug use, and create rehabilitation communities that use therapies that focus rebuilding the whole person. Fighting an external war to solve an internal problem is failed policy.
During the podcast I think we had a Kanye West moment where I went beyond the normal boundaries and awakened the inner beast in Jay. I have to admit during the AISPORTSCAST I Bobby Brown the show. It’s what I do best. I think I need help. I digress. During the normal course of the show I often anticipate the thought process of the crew so that I can interject. This week’s show interjecting went terribly wrong and I pissed off Jay. If you’re familiar with the show Jay is the talent and everyone else are blowhards. We need Jay because he’s the sports authority. People listen to the podcast because they respect his opinion and I was on the brink of losing him forever!
Drew Brees NFL MVP
I made the argument that Drew Brees should be this years NFL MVP. Why? The Saints are complete garbage and the only reason they remain competitive in their division is because of Drew Brees. Their record is 4-6, but it has been Brees’s will that has led this team to victories. I think Drew is more valuable to his team than Tom Brady is to the Patriots, and Dak and Zeke the Freak are to the Cowboy. Without Drew Brees the Saint would be 0-6 and not competing for first place in their division. Think about it.
There will be days when the sun shines on a dogs ass. Eventually everyone will experience the good fortune of luck. The Washington Redskins are dog ass lucky. Game play in the NFL this year is hideous and unfortunately what’s rising to the top is not cream, but rather the top layer of league excrement. The Skins are not a good team. Their Ewokian leader Dan Snyder has taken a historically successful team and turn it into a subpar franchise. Snyder lacks the fundamental understanding of managing and motivating people. The impotency of his leadership shows in the dysfunction of the team. Don’t be fooled by the winning record. The team has two major flaws, Kirk Cousins and Jay Gruden. Kirk Cousins quarterback play is good for himself and Jordan Reed. His inability to accurately throw the ball deep hinders Pierre Garçon and DeSean Jackson’s production. The offensive scheme of Jay Gruden works because defenses are willing to give up short yards, but when the team enters the redzone they only score a touchdown 43% of the time as compared to the Titans who score 75% of the time with a team that is less talented. If the Redskins finished the season with a 9-7 record I won’t be impressed because football game play is just so bad and if the rumors are true about Kirk Cousins wanting $25 million a year for his new contract this year could be the end of the good times for D.C.
Essence of Rihanna
Many moons ago a league of men had a vision of satiating the desires of men and women who wanted the out of reach intimacy of their favorite celebrity. The product was called ooty. A fragrant lotion embodying the essence of a favorite celebrity. 20 years ago the prototype was based on Janet Jackson’s ooty. Today the product will be based on Rihanna’s ooty and called the Essence of Rihanna. A moisturizing lotion that captures Rihanna’s essence in a bottle.
