Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors are the luckiest team in NBA history. Last year the Warriors did not have to play the top tier of the Western Conference in the playoffs and they sailed their way to the Finals. In the NBA Finals they played an injury inflicted Cleveland team that some how found a way to shut down Curry for most of the series. This year luck has shined on Curry and the Warriors again. The Western conference is plagued with injuries and player adjustments. The Warriors are healthy and their roster remains consistent. It’s easy to be undefeated when you’ve played broken teams. The Warriors are being celebrated for winning 17 games in an 82 game season. Honestly who cares? No one. This is a trivial statistic. The question is where will the Warriors be when the season ends? My guess is that they won’t be #1 or the darlings of the NBA.
